This treatment combines the Signature Facial with Red Light + Microcurrent technology to create visibly smooth skin. Red Light Therapy involves a specific wavelength of visible red light that affects the mitochondria of the cells - the part of the cell that creates energy which allows for other cells to do their work more efficiently - such as repairing skin and boosting new cell growth which enhances skin rejuvenation - promoting the production of collagen, reducing inflammation, fine lines and dark circles. Microcurrent is a technique that delivers low-voltage electrical waves which exercises your skin by stimulating the dermis, and promotes the production of collagen and elastin - helping skin look brighter, smoother, and more rejuvenated. CONTRAINDICATIONS: Anyone under the age of 18, people with electronic implanted devices, pacemaker, defibrillators/stimulators, pregnancy and epilepsy, photo-allergy and medications that cause light sensitivity (such as Tetracycline). Also, if you are currently taking steroids or cortisone injections, you should not receive light therapy.
